mindset when black

Hey guys, newer player here. Recently I posted some questions to help my openings when white. I got lots of help and have been practicing an opening they told me about.

I'm curious though on the approach I should take while black. Is there specific openings you do while playing black? Or do you adjust off of the openings played by white? Also, with that on mind, is there a different over all mindset/strategy while playing as black? Should I be just as aggressive As I would be white, or take a defensive approach by reacting to whites moves

The Sicilian Defense is a good move, if white play e4.

True. In my experience the most trustworthy of all the defenses.

1. e4 g5 2. d4 Bg7 . . . give em the pawn, get out of your own way, hit back on the queenside with c5 (delayed sicilian, accelerated dragon whatever you wish to call it), strike out a stake for d4 with Qb6 (Nc6) also head for b2, castle queenside, double rooks on the g file and attack.  That's as aggressive as it gets.
