Minimum Time for Move

BLUF: a move should take a minimum of a second to make, even a pre-move. Given that the site takes a second for white to make its move, there’s already a precedent on the site for moves to take time that isn’t inherent to the game. More to the point, no physical player could make a proper move in less than a second (without knocking over the clock). Let’s stop rewarding people who manage to win games with less than 10 seconds because they can’t manage their time.

But both sides have the opportunity to win “awarding people who win with less than ten seconds” is purely down to skill.

There is a huge number of people who burn time either using an analysis board or simply Stockfish while the other person twiddles their thumbs. This simply punishes them further

It's possible to make moves in less than a second OTB

0.1 second minimum was chosen for a reason.

Bullet chess can have its own rules. Any game with more than one minute per player should require a minimum of one second per move.

Since i am a noob and know nothing of the real human chess boarding. Wouldnt it make more sense that the game starts for white and ofc black, as soon as the white makes the first move? And not as soon as the game starts or is on? I saw this on leechess at least and found the difference between the two websites interesting. Pls correct me if im wrong. Or dont. *throws flowers on wonderful ppl on this wonderful planet

Rules available for bullet should be available for all live time controls.
