The whole point of the Marvel films is to shut your brain down so you don't think about the world.

Some folk won't like the fact that I've said this because it will hurt their feelings, but I guess that's just too bad. This is a *fact* you see, and facts don't care about your feelings.

Nobody will ever make a better movie than "Casablanca" or "The Maltese Falcon."  We need to clone Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

Yeah, some movies are damn near perfect. 

Another to add to the list is: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975). 

"Ghost" was in that category.

That is so weird - I was thinking about that movie only yesterday!

What about a really great comedy?  We could really use a universally funny film these days.  I don't think there has been a killer comedy in the past 10 years.  I saw The Secret Life of Pets 2 a couple of weeks ago and got my fair share of laughs.  But I'm talking about a howler you have to tell your friends about.

So, what's your candidate for the funniest film of the last 10 years?  I'm gonna fudge a bit for my pick and go back to the year 2006 when Idiocracy was released for a brief time.  It didn't become popular until it was shown on cable television later.  I think there should be an online petition for its re-release.

Anyway, what's your pick?
