I would honestly love it if there was an online space to play some sort of multi-dimensional chess, whether it is feasible or not. I actually plan to program such a space to play as well, I might sell the code to Chess.com or make my own site, but atm I'm still just planning out the development process and finding friends who know how to code
I never said I didn't know how to code, I said I was looking for friends who did.
I do have moderate knowledge of programming, the reason why I am not the one doing the bulk of programming is due to a lack of time. I will be involved to some degree, but considering I have university and part- time work weighing me down, in order for this to be developed even slowly, will require me to seek out additional help
Has anyone here ever played or watched a game of multi-dimensional chess? Most have had "exposure" to it by watching Mr. Spock play 3-D Chess on Star Trek.
But I'm curious if it's practical; could we get a set and play repeatedly the way we do on this site? Or is it very impractical, lasting 300+ moves or incessantly ending in stalemates?
Please feel free to add any personal experiences you might have with this variant. I checked everything out online, and I'll go back over it, but I wanted to hear what you had to say.
