My blitz rating can reach below 1000 while I am a strong player why?

several reasons:

1. you may frequently lose on time in winning positions.

2. you may not actually be as strong a player as you think.

3. your rating is highly volatile because you do not play many live chess games.

4. you make the last blunder.
