My Chess Pieces are my children and my Queens have names

Hi. I don't have kids in real life so I consider my chessmen my babies. My queens, Abigail Macarena and Roxy Penelope Macarena are my two wives.

Sometimes I say yes to people who ask if I have kids and I share children with two separate wives. They look in amazement and have no clue I speak of my beloved chess queens.

Now before you leave this page because of course you think I'm bonkers, Let me tell you a Spanish author long ago, dedicated the book that he wrote to his white chess queen piece, whom he named Margarita.

(From the book: "Esta obra dedicada a Margarita, mi dama blanca de ajedrez.")

So, does anyone else share this behavior?

Now, I know I'm not entirely crazy because even the great Kasparov in the Predecessors series says things like , "The goddess Caïssa was with me at that moment."
