Well, you did the right thing. My policy is, whenever I have a problem, I don't try to fix it on my own. I immediately complain about it, because people need to know. Also, the best answers to give when people are diagnosing a problem are one-word, or even a grunt, because that gets the information across concisely.

Good advice. I would also recommend trying a different browser. If using Firefox, try Chrome. If using Chrome, try Firefox.
