Now that we've all had some fun, I really doubt the premise of the OP. I mean, if someone doesn't like darker-skinned people, they won't start dating them or engaging them romantically in the first place. If there is some gal who ditched this guy, I'm thinking it has more to do with something irritating about him rather than his skin tone. Possibly staring at chess boards all day and into the night instead of wooing and cooing with the little lady had more of a hand in the breakup than ethnic considerations.
