I was having a good life doing my 5 daily tactics when this puzzle came up: https://www.chess.com/puzzles/problem/1282331 Pass rate to that puzzle was 0.3% when I solved it and now it's down to 0%. Also rating was 2400 but got updated to 3400...I thought for an hour and still got it wrong, damn!

Your stats say you spent an hour on the puzzle.

You must have looked at the immediate queen check. However, what then? It doesn't lead to a quick mate.

So you need something else. Your rook is attacked. His knight is unprotected. Your knight can help restrain his development. Your queen has to take part.

Working out the possibilities is not easy.

I guess that's why it's a 2400 rated puzzle .

/ You must have seen the solution so I won't post it here.

That's a hard one.  I didn't see the point of White's defensive b3/Bb2 manuver until he played it, and then floundered around with my response.  Black's attack is kind of slow, so there are a LOT of moves to analyze for both sides.  This sort of thing is a nightmare in rapid or blitz....
