Lol how did you not notice.
My opponent cheated in a tournament! Can I get the result nullified?
Need a TD to verify this, but I believe if an illegal move is discovered after the game is over and scored it's too late to claim it .

Kinda that. After the game it's most likely too late as Dodger111 said, you should claim right away.

Actually an illegal move stands if neither player discovers it more than 10 full moves afterwards (note that leaving a king in check repeatedly is repeated illegal moves so it's always in the last 10 moves unless you accidentally cover it and keep playing).
By the way combined I've read the 5th and 6th Editions of The Official Rules of Chess (USCF's rulebook) three times.

WHt makes you think you're opponent cheated you? You didn't notice it ws an illegal move, maybe he didn't either. You are responsible for noticing an illegal move, you know. I doubt there is any remedy at this point. Pay attention!
I agree with you and calling someone as the OP did in the game SC@mb@g is rather childish

He should call himself an idiot for not noticing it wasn't a legal move. He only blames his opponent for ''cheating'' and doesn't blame himself for being dumb. Typical.

Maybe you should post the game. I just took a look at all your games that could have been tournaments and could not find this one.
How would you look at all my games? Most of my tournament games are on a scoresheet sitting on my desk and will never make it online.
Sucks that I can't do anything now that the game is over... oh well, lesson learned!
- FYI, my opponent said he realized it was an illegal move a few seconds after he made it, and didn't say anything...

This site has tournaments. I thought you were talking about a tournament on this site.
So I'm playing an OTB tournament, and here's how the game starts:
Somehow I manage to draw the game. But the fact that he cheated and jumped a pawn with his bishop gets to me. I didn't realize it until the tournament was over. What are the rules about this? Could I get the game result cancelled?
