My own Chess Tactic ( Thoughts?)

So, after reviewing tactics and strategy for chess. I made up my own, and it's likely already been made before, but I call it a " Banzai Charge Offensive Strategy". It's strictly offensive, with little defense. And involves doing as much damage and making as much losses to the other player as possible, despite losing your own pieces.

Is it a good idea to use this when you're about to lose, and want to do as much damage as possible, or something that could lead to victory at the start? Thoughts?

If you think there's a good chance (when you're losing) that it could turn the game around then what have you got TO lose? A reversal of fortune or, at worst, a faster defeat. Or it could get you some breathing room; both of you may have to repair your forts, delaying the opponent's attack or even spoiling the threat they were most prepared to make. Ditto for the opening. It might be especially effective against a book player. Take them out of book and give you the element of surprise.
