My school band video games, but not chess. I only play on my “free period” when I am 100% sure that I have no other work. I’m like the only one who plays chess at my school, so they don’t care

My bad. No commas, but you could do with some better transitions than “and” as well as some better word choice. It is still a run on sentence.

Actually, I could have used some commas. They argue about it nowadays and, of course, styles change over the years.
