I would prefer to have one modification: the phoenix loses the "Phoenix Paralysis" and the "Revival" ability due to complexity. I would be open to discussion about this modification.

OK, I'm all good with the phoenix losing those powers.  Still I still don't quite get the notation, how can I get specify which file I mean?

1-12 for rank, and a-q (skipping l) for file. Just put the name of the piece, to avoid confusion. i.e. "Jack i6" is a valid first move. Square a1 is the lower left corner.

I have a problem- I don't have the black Titaness or the white king on white, and vice versa. I might be able to pluck them out of the background, but I don't think it will be clean.
