Narrative Notation

Just an idea I'd like some feedback on - basically symbolising the vocabulary of chess commentary to make scoresheets more readable.  Together with the current annotation symbols of soundness (?? to !!), it can make a written game quite illuminating!

I've found this really useful in documenting my tournament games, and trying to add "why?" annotations to my opponent's moves too really makes me think about what they're up to as we play.  I'm also getting to grips with visualising my games just by reading the scoresheet using this approach, and honestly I can't recommend it enough happy.png

Some examples:

Ψ: "forking", e.g. Nxc7+ΨR  =  "Knight takes c7 pawn, forking King and Rook", or Nc5ΨQR = "Knight c5, forking Queen and Rook"

τ: "pinning/skewering", e.g. Bb4τNK  =  "Bishop g4, pinning Knight to King" (as in the Winawer French) or Bb5+τKQ = "Bishop b5 check, skewering Queen on King"

→: "threatening", e.g. e5→N  =  "e5, attacking Knight" (as in the Alekhine), or Qe4→h7#  =  "Queen e4, threatening checkmate on h7"

δ: "discovery", e.g. Nf3+δQ  =  "Knight f3 check, with discovered attack on Queen"

...etc.

Please let me know what you think!
