I've been at 900 elo for 3 months now and I need help to crossing 1000 elo.  Don't tell me to watch gothamchess.  I watch him 24 7.

There are a lot of advantages for not to cross 1000 elo such as you will not face strong opponents.

This is bound to happen sooner or later...

You can't drive a car or learn to swim just by watching videos, in the same manner, you cannot learn chess just by watching videos...

I did not say to just watch videos. I just said that watching videos improves someone in a certain way, I agree that just watching chess videos is not a good thing, but combining it with study, practice and etc. will improve somebody's play in a certain way.

But, what if I told you an 8 year old out there who's a frickin' genius learned how to drive just by watching youtube videos. That's what is called a fast learner lol.
