Need Help! I want to play online while friend plays on a real chess board.

I want to play chess against a friend who is remote.  He doesn't want to play online chess though (he prefers a regular chess board).  We've played on the phone where we read off the moves we're making.  He makes the move on his physical chessboard and I make them on a chess editor.  The thing is, I'd like to record the moves of the game (and hopefully screenshots).  He's willing to look back and analyze the game online.  He just wants to play on a real board.  Is it possible to do what I'm asking?  Ideally I'd like to save these games so we could analyze them in the future too.

There is a new functionality being tested in beta called a library where you can save games played offline.

I think you have to have been a member for 30 days before you can join the beta. But You should when you're able.

Text? Email? Attach photos of the game taken by the camera's phone?

Do it the old-fashioned way:  write the moves on a piece of paper.

So many ways it can be done like mentioned above. I prefer a real board to online; however I am growing to like online chess more and more. I also like taking notation with pen and paper, the old fashion way.

We can write out the moves but it's harder to analyze the games that way.  As mentioned above, he's okay with analyzing the games online (just not playing them online).   Since I'm already playing online, it would be easier if I just made the moves and had a program record it.  I haven't been a member for 30 days yet but I'm looking forward to beta testing "library".  If anyone knows a better way in the meantime, it would certainly be appreciated.
