Need help
I get into this position a lot and want to know if later in the game there's a way to get rid of the pin with out having to wreck my king side thx
The pin itself is not really an issue, and is very thematic. I bet that more grandmaster games have happened where there is this pin than when there is not. You could try to break it with h3, and if Bh5 then you just develop normally. Eventually his bishop will look rather silly sitting over there. You could eventually break it with Qd3 if you desired.
The real problem is that position with a knight on d4
Play 6.h3 before castling to prevent the pin.
I just don't want to sacrifice development.
Yeah, as DeSpudnik said you can go Qe2 Ne1-e3 (and maybe even to f5-g3 if you really want it gone) or even Nb1-d2.
The move order matters. In the OP black playing a6 so late is bad. You can simply capture on e5 on your 6th move.
You're right to not waste time with h3 before the bishop gets there.
h3 is called a prophylactic move to protect the g4 square. h3 is part of opening theory so it's a good move.
It depends on the position. You can't play h3 any time you want and call it opening theory. Because it's a pawn move that has nothing to do with the center it's a suspect opening move and should only be played if it meets a specific and dangerous threat.
In the OP's position, especially after opening things up development moves are much more important. 6.h3 is not an opening move in that position.
You should watch GM Smirnov's breaking stereotypes lessons, the first part is talking about what to do if the bishop pins the knight, and why it is often a mistake to pin the knight with the bishop.

From that video, you can go to the part 2, 3, and 4, the 2. part is about the bishop takes the knight and you have to take by the g pawn, the 3. as I remember is about an exchange of the fianchettoed bishop, and the 4. is the attack on the h-file.
GM smirnov was totally right, we misunderstood these positions. And not only me fortunately.
