Never play the scandinavian defence ever

l just played the most common moves- l had said it was for beginner's! l obviously wouldn't have played like that in my real game! l had said that l tested it with the most common lines!

And the game you played is not how you play that variant of the Scandinavian, you’re supposed to bring your queen to a5 and push your e and c pawns to the sixth rank.

You played the first 7 moves completely fine. Then you blundered on move 8. You also blundered a few more times in the following moves, as well.
It was your blunders that led to the loss, not the fault of the opening ...

The position after the opening is completely equal. Black made a bizarre blunder on move 8 (Be6 instead of the obvious Bg6), and lost a pawn for no reason. The game is still not decided at this point, but then black blundered a piece: played the greedy 17. - Nxa2 without thinking, when it was glaringly obvious that the knight has no way to retreat. Blundering the rook later was inconsequential.
All in all, in a 10 minute game black used less than 2 minutes, banging out 23 moves without thinking. Great strategy. The loss must be the fault of the opening, right?
You should NEVER play the Scandinavian Defence EVER!!

Well l used the most common strategy if you have a better one than you can play it but l wouldn't recommend this opening for intermediates and amateurs yet l still see them play it! l tried it out ( since l am a intermediate myself) and l lost as you can see in the link.
