New exploit?

So I was playing a game against someone rated slightly higher than me (I was playing on my phone btw) and I ended up in a winning position with them being down a knight and about to lose a rook when the post game pop up came up to declare the winner so at first I thought my opponent resigned but then I realised it said game aborted. I didn’t gain any elo and when I went back to look at the game in the completed games section it was gone, like it never existed. Is this a new exploit or something?
The server reset; probably for routine maintenance. Your opponent had nothing to do with it...

Players can't abort games after moves have been made, so it was just a server restart.
