New Group - Aspiring Masters

This is a new group for all users of chess.com who either ARE titled players, or are players actively attempting to become titled.

Hopefully we can help each other make it.

Game load will be quite low so hopefully the group can become quite sizeable.

oh, and that opening...

... it'll take a while to read up to that line in the scotch gambit... i don't want to skip chapters (i got 3 chapters to cover before i reach that line ... -.-)

It's referred to as "The sharper bishop move" for black...

Yeah roflolmao ... that scotch gambit is tricky material ... it goes to show that no matter how strong your opponent is (I don't want to assume I'm the better player but I am talking in general), a well prepared line will go miles.

Oh I'm ready for the scotch now ... #4 on the site and I had a nice long chat about it ... he basically gave me the 'best' black line (our styles are almost identical so it works out well).

Anyways I need to do some memorizing but for the sakes of CC I'm more than ready for the scotch :).
