Yes I'm having problems also. I can't find anyway to play live chess. My online games are working. Yes had to get used to new interface. Help with live chess.

It's all under New Game (on the Play screen). Whether it's Live or Daily just depends on what time control you select!
And what about playing unrated games in live chess ? ... That option was available in the old interface, but it seems like it doesn't exist in the new one ... Does anyone have any idea about that ??

Play screen > New Game button > + Challenge » > Create Challenge button > ALL the settings

Thumbs down, can't get to any team or match info from the new app ...
Thanks found it. I was afraid to push that button. Thought it would start another online game.

The piece designs in the new app are distracting when playing. The newspaper print shines through when using the theme "newspaper" - and the translations into Danish - my host country language - are shockingly bad. Very odd.
I wont use the app anymore 😎

My preferred theme choices are pretty simple. :) And we're planning to do more work on both themes and translations soon!
I love the new design. It is the same design that is on my android. It's good to have the iPad and android app eye to eye. Love the theme options. Great job chess.com staff!

hmmmmm. new iOS for iPad and iPhone are both super. Functionally, it is much, much, much better now, with the incorporation of the core features of the actual C.c site. I love the lessons (chess mentor) integration and premove in particular.
The graphics and "themes" I'm sure are a very simple fix.
Did I just fall into some techno gremlins grasp, or did the chess.com interface for iPad completely change? My iPhone app is unchanged. I don't like the new look. Also, I can't figure out how to get to the old "setup position" on the computer, or the "human vs human" mode. Anyone else having these issues?
