You're not crazy. Same thing's happening to me, both on Firefox and Explorer.
new live chess

it's broken. we're trying to fix it. i'm having a bad couple of days. i'm letting everyone down and i hate it.
Chill out Erik, nobody's going to leave over it... *knock on wood*... Seriously though, everybody really is a critic, most of them could do no better themselves. So, keep on keepin' on, Live Chess will be great when it's done!
Yea erik you are doing the best you can, that's all that counts. I'm sure you all will get it fixed and this will soon be a distant memory. Just picture the many years of smooth sailing chess.com will have after this slight hiccup.

Erik -
You are not letting me down. I don't expect perfection, which is why I am not constantly disappointed. What I ask of you and your team is only this: YOUR BEST EFFORT. You folks have put your heart and soul into improving this site... making it the best it can be. You need make no apologies to me. I admire your dedication and effort.
Don't lose focus! Don't be distracted by the naysayers. Your mission is to make this site great; To do what no one else has previously done. If that were easy it would already exist, and since it DOES NOT you are blazing a new trail. While you are at it, remember there are THOUSANDS of grateful, thankful chess players who believe that what you are doing is important and has value.
Break time is over... BACK TO WORK!
My Best Regards,
Brian

Using Chrome and can't open Live Chess. Let's be patient .... (for a couple of minutes!!). Just kidding.
Well, any beginning is hard. ICC was notoriously buggy until Sleator gradually started to rewrite all the code. I want to tell that it appears to me in live chess that there is (also) a problem with packet sequencing: in a game today, my opponent offered a draw, I accepted it and then the opponent made another move and the game continued. At that time the server was lagging terribly however.

The really inspiring thing is that even though there is a problem, the staff of this site are so dedicated that they take the time to answer the posts of members, letting us know that the problem will be fixed.
Erik and staff take as much time as you need

Live.chess.com 2 is like windows vista a very ugly kid. But it was all a cleaver ploy to make us more eager for windows 7, which i might add is awesome. So once live.chess.com 3 comes out. Party at my place. :D

Well I can't get in either but don't feel bad, Erik. I see many more than before are enjoying the new live chess. Right now there are more in Live than Online. I'd say there's a 200% increase of members in Live chess since the change.
mark this a bug with the live as well. The server is saying they are still tehre even if they arn't.
Is it just me or does the new live chess screen just continually load? Im running of firefox and it doesn't work does this happen to anyone else
