New Openings?

I have been grinding chess for the past month, I went from 1100 to 1500 rapid and now i am having trouble finding good openings to play as I feel playing the Scandinavian is slow and worse for black every game. Are there any flexible openings for e5 as black? 

I assume you need an opening against 1. e4? I agree the scandinavian is poo as black
There are a bunch of options that are sound even at the highest level, and certainly ones that offer either flexibility, tactic heavy, or positional options. 
My favorite is the sicilian, and a variety of them. Other options are the Caro Kann, French, Pirc, 1.e5 & the modern.

Sicillian is a great opening but i feel like i need to be higher rated to play the opening as it's complicated, i hate the pirc because whenever i play against strong fide players i get squished in the opening. I will look into e.5 modern and i do play caro kann now.

You arent going to learn the Sicilian unless you play it. I started playing it at around 1300, and now its my main weapon. I would be more than happy to offer coaching if you want it?
