New Peak Elo Hit!!!
ONE, ELO. and you call that a peak...? Amateur hour.
You’re rated 600. You don’t get to be calling anyone else an amateur!
Anyway.
Congratulations on your achievement! Your resilience is evident through your games this spring. Keep up the good work!

That's what a peak is, your highest ever elo, it does not need to be miles away from my past peak because at one point your peak is always only a few points higher than your previous peak. Also, it was not like I was stuck at 2300 for months, I dropped all the way to the low 2100's and had to climb back these last few months.
@cale302, idt that you shd be calling a 2300 an amateur….
He can destroy you in seconds. he can destroy even me asw( my elo being 400 points less than his, tho i defeated a 2400 once)
Today, I just hit my all-time elo peak of 2340 rapid, but It means so much more than that. I hit my peak previous peak of 2339 elo in late January, before tilting all the way back to 2139 at my lowest in March. Part of me felt like quitting, that I lost something in my game, but I kept pushing, and now I'm the highest I've ever been again! The sky is the limit in terms of how high I can go! Here's the fated game to get me there:
Using my trusty Alekhine Defense, of course.
That’s awesome! Congrats! I’ve experienced being at a new peak rating, then losing a ton, and then recovering it back months later. Yeah, nice feeling; keep feeling the great momentum, friend! :)
Wow, very impressive! 2300+ is such a high number. It’s inside an area that makes me respect players so much, I would call them expert players (otb ≈ 2000+). I consider it to be the range where you understand the game so well that you can consistently play solid moves. And you are an excellent player in all areas of the game!
You surely deserve your peak rating and your peak rating deserves you. You haven’t your peak without a reason: It’s a sign that you will always achieve great things when you believe in yourself and focus on the board and the informations behind every move rather than your emotions. Think about it. Never let something else control you other than your heart.
Mark my words, Ill get you ein forever
Do you mean me?
I don’t understand what you mean, but in case you mean you could beat me at chess: You can’t.
Thanks to everyone for their words of encouragement! I'm hoping to get even further In the next few months, and one day become a titled Chess player.
Its chess.com rating though, not FIDE rating.
Which means it jumps around all the time. IIRC only the last 100 games are taken into consideration.
