on a blitz game I lose 2seconds every time for that damn banner. and it's annoying. just pair me

You can turn that off in the board setting by toggling off Theme Showcase Animations
If you're on the iOS app I believe it is under Settings > Play instead currently

I like the opponents banners
Surprised I can't delete these posts so now I have to explain myself. When playing on my phone (which sucks actually) the banner didnt used to appear. I only played 1 minute bullet games, thus this banner that just started to pop up was distracting. But chess on the computer is much better. And bullet games are kinda lame. And I very much like the banner!
