New style Home screen

Opened up Chess.com this morning on the PC to be presented with a new style home screen!

Not sure that I like it as the games I am currently playing just have the name of the opponent and the time remaining whereas the previous version included an image of the current 'state of play' board as well.

Also, there is much more space given over to stats, blogs and messages which, for me, is far less important than the games themselves!

Does anybody know if there is there any way to reorganise the home screen to be more like it was? I have tried settings but the only options appear to be 'modern' or 'classic' but neither of these seem to achieve what I want.

Best regards

Can you post a screenshot?

Normally, when games are displayed you have choice between a list view and a game view.

is list view.

is game view.

You can choose between them by clicking the two icons in the top line.

This is what I get when I go to the home screen.

I can click on the > at the top right of the game box and am taken to those games. From there I can click on grid or list view for the games I am currently playing.

However, my issue is that the home screen does not have the grid or list view option itself.

BTW, not really an issue as such but mildly annoying as I was not the screen to have changed!

Settings > Home > Home Style is set to Classic. Setting it to Modern will give the default layout.

Thanks Martin, that seems to have fixed it! Although I not entirely sure how it became 'unfixed' in the first place!

No matter, I am happy again happy.png
