Computers don't play like humans. You'll have a lot more fun getting out there and mixing it up with your mates. Lot of folks like the "training wheels" aspect of correspondence chess ("online" here). No worries about the opening phase-it's open book. No worries about time management, you have days, not minutes to make your next move. No worries about that calculation stuff, you've got an analysis board. Sure it's "research chess", but you can learn an awful lot about chess, and of course when the book runs out, you do still have to play. Oh, and keep hitting that tactics trainer.

iv watched all the videos to do with starting out chess, but still no luck still getring beaten by a level on computer, how do i progress or any tips many thanks.
