New Years Goal

Get Amateur's Mind by Jeremy Silman. It's an easy read and very entertaining.
AM won't get anyone to Master but it teaches some really good concepts - like how to use a space advantage properly instead of throwing it away for nothing at the wrong time.

Also I should have mentioned the video library here on chess.com is beyond superb.
The "Amazing Games For Beginners Series" is excellent.. it's like fine wine of chess basics.
