Hi.  I am 14 years old.  I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me based on my games that I have what it takes to be world champion someday?  If so, what kinds of things should I be doing?

in order to be world champion you have to be breast-fed chess and become a master at age 12. you may become a decent club player however it's more likely to win the lottery than to become world champion.

You should play more than blitz but yeah 1500 at 14 there's a lot of improvement but your not starting from nothing

Listen laddie, you can be anything in life you want to be, if you just believe in yourself and follow your dreams. Just tell yourself everyday " I think I can, I think I can ". You are master of your own destiny and captain of your own ship. Hahaha, just kiddie' loser. Give it up and play Chinese checkers.

Well I'd say for a start you should try playing games andlearn from mistakes. But I'm not a Gm so. Btw it helped me when I tried playing strong players

Pretty much impossible starting as old as you are, unless you study the techniques of the great master Borislav Ivanov.

ok i'll bite just this once & try to provide a definitive answer.

botvinnik once famously said about karpov

"The boy doesn't have a clue about chess, and there's no future at all for him in this profession"

assuming you've heard of these two, how would you expect us to be able to judge any better?
