I am not qualified to give any kind of advice on chess matters except maybe on how to pick out a nice chic outfit to wear at a world class chess tournament, but welcome Arunima!

Why don't you guys just piss off. Arunima the best way to learn on this site is to start taking the lessons, solve tactics by calculating the solution in your head before making any moves, play a lot of 30 min rapid games, try to analyze each game you play by yourself and when your finished with your analysis then analyze it with the computer and see where you made your mistakes. Good luck!

Was that so difficult guys? If anyone has any better suggestions go right ahead.

How do you do that? Usually I would expect a 'flag message' button or something.

Ignore the sexist remarks. They are trolls. We need more women in chess and chess is as good for women as it is for men. They probably just got crushed by a woman in a game.

So what am I supposed to tell the fellow engineering student that are female that can design and calculate better than a majority of men. Am I supposed to tell her to step down and not work on technologies that better America. Women can in fact calculate, if they can do math they can calculate. "God" didn't make females without a brain they know how to use it

Check Genesis again. Eve didn't tempt Adam with an apple. If she had, do you think apple trees would still *exist* on this planet?
