News! Arena 2 out now.

Arena 2 is out for download. Go to their website. I added Rybka and it works fine BUT... there is still no sound though on my hard drive there is a folder in Arena for sound.

And rats. My Arena 1.99 has disappeared even though I said do not overwrite.

I still have Arena 1.1.

Am I obsessing on getting the sound - the click when I move a piece? It makes me mad that I can't seem to import it even though it is a part of all my Arena files in C/program files/arena. They even have sound files for national anthems. But for pete's sake, all I want is a click.

Any ideas how to do this? Have you tried to get the sound? If so, please in simple terms tell me how in Heaven's name I can do it.

O BOY a new FREE TOY i plan to download it looks like it comes with a pre packaged group of uci an win engine one of the arena databases an the arena main opening book along with the small opeing book a posb a sound file  all preloaded i plan to now download as fast as my phone modem will let me play with it an get back to everyone.Also check out zaron fischer as on his intro page he lists some other new goodies including a crafty gui board  an nice 3d chess program called wj chess 3d

Works great picked up my other engines i loaded on arena also have my beep sound database an opening books only negative it upgraded my arena 1.1 to 2 however kept 1.99 but as i have the 1,1 load program still one the days when i am bored i may reload it.
