After Nf6, g6, black can play KID, Gruenfeld, by transposition, Benoni, Benko.

After Nf6, e6, black can play Nimzo Indian, Queen's Indian,.Bogo Indian, Catalan, Queen's Gambit.

Which do you play and explain why the other is Inferior or Not your Taste?

Queen's Gambit and Grünfeld Indian Defence are both equally good.
The others are sharper, but not wholly sound.

I play Nf3, gym aiming for a Gruenfeld or KID. Influenced by Kasparov. If I get bored playing Gruenfeld and KID, I play Nimzo Indian and Queen's Indian.

After Nf6 e6, black also has the option of playing a Benoni or a Semi-Slav, I think. Idk, I like both. It just depends on what I feel more comfortable with lately
