women are good only to wipe, to cook, to f...k and to bible. to be a chess master or a worldmaster at first you must be a man!

Do you have any proove. Goto the fide website and check how many woman gm's there are compared to men gm's there are. They will probably be close to the same.

Holding tongue. Holding tongue. Too easy. Would be like shooting fish.in.a.barrel...

Gaaahhhh!!!!

SheridanJupp

Yeah, but I'm not trying to shoot him. He's a Dutch citizen and should have a good grasp of the English language. I'm not happy when I see fellow citizens make mistakes like that.

SheridanJupp

"300 inbreds".... that fish won't fly :-=)

SheridanJupp

And hitting below the belt. pfffff. Charming ;-)

No, no, I was talking about that troll further up. "To be a GM first you have to be a man". Oh G-D the snark potential.

SheridanJupp

Okay :-D haha. I though you were talking about myself as a troll ;-)

idk if its such a good idea but i've send this note to The Albanian Group

Please
your countryman tomy_gun posted a sexist  comment in the forum about Nigel Short sexist remark about women in chess. tomy_gun  pretends no women can play good chess. do you have any idea what this really means? if so you can help by posting a comment in that forum  . thanks :)

Is that addressed to me? I don't think tommy_gun is a countryman of mine. Anywho, you're not reluctant to posting sexist content yourself.

"Sometimes a picture is just a picture." Yeah, and sometimes a picture is sexist.

now it just needs a flag on a pole.

"By way of something being PC in the common vernacular, it's a position people OUTWARDLY agree with in public, but usually when people make PC arguments they get threatening backlash. PC or not really means nothing. It's the difference between being publicly shunned and being threatened in private. PC just sends the opposition underground."

True, you can make a distinction between public attention and private attention.

I think, though, we have to consider the time period (I hope you are charitable enough to take it that I was not talking about the past). I think, and this is something to be happy about, in the US we have reached a point where feminists are probably not going to be killed or something for expressing their view lol. Free speech dictates some people will openly get pissed at them, of course, but as far as the media is concerned, which is public, they will be positive about it, outweighing the "private" negativity.

Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe feminists get death threats or worse, I don't know. If they do that's terrible. But it seems like you can't automatically take what happened in the past, when things were so different, and translate them to now.

Bonny-Rotten

jeez (some members are smoking some heavy dope)

.....wait...I get most of the sexist tirade, but how does one 'bible'!? As a native English speaker and lover of many things biblical, how in the infinite cosmos does one use 'bible' as a verb!?

It sounds like the token sexist is trying to make some version of the fascist adage regarding femininity 'kirche, kuche, und kinder' (church, kitchen, and children), but the use of 'bible' as a verb is a little unsettling. "I shall bible you all - as is my womanly duty!"

Bonny-Rotten

Sounds like a word coined by an Eva Lotion fanatic.

Bonny-Rotten

that's what's so great about the Internet. everything is so vague and nobody really has much clue what anyone is saying.

The gay thing was an example. I was trying to say what is radical yesterday is commonplace today.

Bonny-Rotten

it was THAT simple!
