I just have a funny question, In last 30 days I played 600 games on this website. What are the odds of non of my opponent cheating? Since I did not had any rating refunds...

Is cheating on chess.com over? or Is something wrong with Anti cheat? Am I the meaning of luck in online chess??

Hey @onedaythere 👋

Haha, I like the optimism, maybe you are the symbol of good luck in online chess! 😄

But seriously, it’s totally possible that none of your opponents were caught cheating in that span. The Fair Play team is always running checks behind the scenes, and sometimes rating refunds come weeks later once investigations are fully reviewed.

So if you haven’t seen any yet, that doesn’t necessarily mean the system isn’t working; it just means either your opponents were clean or the checks haven’t flagged anything recently.

If only all 600-game months could be that smooth, right? 😅

I gone deeper and found this, I won against cheaters here:

Draw against one of them:

And my lost with no refunds:

Honestly I may just move to Lichess just since I dont think chess.com Anti cheat is doing a good job, In my rapid pool 2050-2150 at least 1 in 5 cheats and gets away with it...

How does Lichess handles cheaters? Cause I might move there too.

The perception of cheating levels is orders of magnitude more than the actual amount. The vast majority of games and players are clean.
