Most of the players won the arena tournaments in hope of getting premium as chess.com says! But after winning chess.com jz don’t give [removed -- MS] about those winners…they jz want to attract players to play arenas in hope of premium membership…but after winning the tournament (working hard 24 ex-***Saturday marathon arena), chess.com jz saying winners suck ur works,  [removed] …they even don’t give  [removed]  about winners…

yup . i gained 2nd place amoung 1900 players in 24 hours chess marathon . i spent maybe 20 or 19 hours . i even didnt sleep at night till 6 AM i was playing . but chess.com is really unfair because they did not respect our efforts and hard work

Yeap, I also wanna complain about that. I have spent about 20 hours to win "24 hours arena" (I've received 1st place) but I was really disappointed when I figured out that i got nothing. Just imagine the situation where u spent all day and then realizing that it was useless and u could sleep normally, do ur own jobs etc. Chess.com please, be fair and give the players what they deserve, otherwise u will look like the as***les

How do u think the cheats work on kings of hill?)

boburjon1106

And also I don't think that cheaters lose at about 100 times

I asked about the official 24 hour Arenas and those don't offer prizes anymore.

00AlphaZero00

Whatever…if they not offering prizes…then why then advertise their tournament with *** this stars…jz to attract players to play hh…

IMKeto

Here is your participation trophy.  Now you're a winner!

Teiiaa so why we need to play in such arenas then? I think that u will agree with me that the main point to participate in any tournament is to win there. However if u won't sacrifice ur time for eating n sleeping u won't be able to win it. If u have such an argument as we shoud play 24 hours arenas only when we have spare time and play for just having fun then why we don't just play the usual games? What's the difference? In arena even u can play vs weaker opponent (there is a chance) but in usual game not ( yeap, in usual games we can also meet weaker opponent but his rating wouldn't differ for example for 1000 than ours).

So, conclusion is that we need to play such arenasto win and the winners should be encouraged to get premium status. I guess that if chess.com will give the award only to 3 players a week, they won't die

ChessLebaneseSalah

they used to give prizes, but because of all the sandbaggers and cheaters it took too much time and effort to award prizes. Unfortunately this is how the world is, good people punished because of bad people's decisions

*** Means it is an automatically scheduled event. It has nothing to do with prizes.

Actually, the *** must be based on the way it's created, but still doesn't mean it awards memberships. One of the official clubs I'm an admin in has some site scheduled events and they have *** and I thought other site events were the same, but now that I'm looking, that doesn't appear to the case.

Every tournament is automatically scheduled… not manually… whats difference (***) this sign makes

i asked steve berger who works for chess.com and he says it can take up to one month.

I asked the support today, when i got an answer you'll hear from me

LMBN

*** maybe just signifies it's a special event?
