Why the hell am I paired against someone that is twice my rating? So f****** not cool.

Happens

One quick glance at your game history and I see you (600) played a 1200 in a tournament. In tournaments with ratings-based pairing you usually play people rated similarly to you, but every now and then you'll face some opponents with more varied ratings.

When facing higher rated opponents just take it as a challenge; it's very rewarding to win against them, or a learning opportunity; there is a lot to learn from those with a deeper understanding of the game.

Or disregard paragraph #2 and never play in tournaments again if you're still objected to facing higher rated opponents.

Playing against higher rated opponents is a great chance to learn. Welcome any chance you can get to do that.
