viewed in a more creative way, i much prefer exciting chess to belting out engine prep 
since the men have extra testosterone, they basically are playing on steroids anyways.

Actually, it's more fair. If men practice more, then they deserve a higher rating (not saying they do practice more).
sure they are bound to have a higher rating, just like if i eat far more tuna than a scrawny alley cat, i will be more beefed up, but i dont expect plaudits for it.
