I have been playing chess for some time but am never really good at knowing the chess notation like if I’m reading a book and it has a photo then says move Nf3 I takes me time to look under the board and find f then 3 is there a easy way to learn chess notation

Chess.com has a "vision" feature where you can practice finding the notations. As for efficiency it comes with time and practice.
