If you cross two octopodes orthogonally... the arms/legs/limbs/appendage of one octopus intersected the arms/legs/limbs/appendage of Paul... the number of intersections would equal the number of squares on a chessboard. I guess that would mean using a "physycic" octopus would be considered cheating.

 First of all ! Paul can spell 'psychic' so dommo should go in the tank and let Paul play with the suckers !
