That's a correct interpretation of the rule!

Ok, thanks. I don't see any tie breaker rule though. What if 2 or 3 people tie when the final scores are tabulated? Do they have to split the 1 Euro? lol

Exactly. Also, any change of tie-breakers (i.e. Champion or Bonus), demotes you to currently last place in this 'line'. Other changes are allowed without 'penalties'.
However, I hope we won't need a tie-break for 1st spot. :)
Btw some people said the match will last more than 12 games yet they chose there wouldn't be a tie-breaker?

Yes, as I said in #78. At least, they may win something. More chances, but definitely not everything.
