and i'm sure there is a very reasonable and articulate answer for this, but why is it that anytime i get paired up with someone with a rating a good deal higher than mine they abort the game?? can't you set parameters and choose not to play people with a less than desireable score? i really can't find the reason for this behavior.

Yup some ppl seem to be lazy or just plain stupid. They could easy adjust settings.

I used to not realize you could set rating restrictions on challenges. Ever since I set them, I don't think I have aborted games for rating reasons. I abort for other reasons sometimes though; like taking too long for the first move.
