Could anyone tell me anything about this old chess board it has been in the family for many years, I believe the pieces are Ivory and they screw into one another at the base. It has been in the family for many years, I would like to know any history behind it and an estimated worth.

If it's bone, c. $150, my mildly educated guess. Neat set.

If indeed ivory, hundreds more.
