3 months is the maximum vacation time I think. I suggest you join 'no vacation' tournaments in future if its an issue for you but of course if you cant get online for whatever reason you can lose games on time.
On Vacation FOREVER - what do I do?

So innocent, so naive.
Some tournaments started over 12 months ago because idiots go on vacation for a long time. Chess.com, in its infinite wisdom (cough* idiocy cough*) allows a maximum of 30 days for basic members, and as much as 90 days of vacation for paying members.

lol. Thanks, everyone. 2 mos seems like a long time ago! Looks like I have 2 more weeks until he moves again.

I'm in a tournament that started a long time ago and I have 2 games by this "Chaotixdementix" that has been "on vacation" for > 1 month and he's holding up the rest of our group. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this? How long can someone be on vacation? Thanks.
Premium members automatically go on vacation from daily games if in danger of exceeding the time limit, although they can still play live games while on vacation.
Most you can do is make sure you have email notification set up; then you'll be notified as soon as he moves.

A friend was crowned the 2013 ELECTRONIC KNIGHTS (E-Knights) CHAMPION.
If the OP thinks 2 months is a long time, and forever, just think what 4 years would do to him.
Honestly, if he was on vacation for another 2 mos, I would just resign the games so that I could clear those games off of my queue. I guess I'm OCD like that.

So is no vacation tournaments more popular nowadays? I'm going to create another tournament but I have not decided yet to make it as vacation or no vacation.
