What are you going on about?
One for the boys

And I do mean. Boys. It is bad enough the male children wear their shirts outside of their trousers/pants ( for the yanks ) What is it with the father's. ( that's over 18 ) It's an appalling look even on a square cut. On a tail shirt sticking out from under a sweater. Makes you want to vomit. Grow up and get mommy to tuck your shirt in...

father's > fathers?; mommy > mummy, yanks > Yanks, etc.

Just go to: Edit forum topic, then change it to off-topic. I hope that helps

Male children? American girls and boys wear shirts outside their pants and it looks ok. I agree that a "dress shirt" with tails should not be worn outside the pants, but it's becoming more and more rare that anyone wears them outside of white-collar jobs.
They say, "The clothes make the man," but there are a lot of cases where formal dress is unnecessary and uncomfortable. As an American, I get a kick out of UK TV series, whether its Doc Martin and culturally-backward residents of Port Wenn or the Vicar of Dibley and all the farmers, watchng them go out into the fields, on picnics, etc. wearing clothes Americans would reserve for an office job or a wedding, etc! We had a TV series called "Green Acres" where the big joke was that a lawyer who decided to become a farmer wears his lawyer's suits while riding his tractor, etc.
Clothing should be more relaxed, while still command a measure of respect. I spent most of my working life in a sport coat/suit and a tie and having a tight collar and tie around one's neck is one of the most ridiculous i've ever seen!

We don't need the supercilious tone.
Better a supercilious tone than your constant whining. I'll wear what I like when I please and if it offends you, that's okay with me.
I'd offer odds on what the OP will find fault with next, but there's just no telling.

First ..you flatter yourself if you think you or any thing or anyone on here carries enough gumption to offend me. The shirt thing is only worn by troglodytes in the UK. Where what a person wears does define their approach to life. lazy is as lazy does. QUESTION :: What is the greater your shoe size or your IQ.. Close call I bet.
Anyone ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover? After some really tough days on the paper, I head for the pub. On my way I untied my tie, threw my jacket over my shoulder and untucked my shirt. Then I settled into a comfy pub chair for a double scotch, single malt.
You can determine my approach to life from this? And it has nothing to do with laziness. It's a comfort thing.

Its "trendy" Just like wearing pants with holes in them. Once tucking your shirt in becomes "cool" again, people will start doing it.

Oh well...Not that America has any worries.
As long as we have tattoo parlors, kardashian videos, and clothes with holes in them, we are good!

just say no
I do frequently and often.. Particularly to older men who think wearing their shirt outside their trousers is a good look.
