Only chess prodigies can win big tournaments

A friend of mine won his first State Championship when he was pushing 70. We're not in a great state for chess, but still.
Also, chess is better taken as a hobby, even if you're a prodigy. The notion that you have to spend all your time at chess to be great at chess is ridiculous. Emmanuel Lasker did a lot of great stuff besides chess, and he was at or near the top of the chess world for three decades.

Just shut up. no on asked you.

It is better to learn and play chess when you're a toddler and if you're a adult just take it as a hobby.
