openings for 800-1000 elo

Hello, I hope you all are doing well. I am here, to the forum, to get help. In the last one and a half year, I have got from good to bad. I was really a good chess player. In fact, I had hit the 1200 rating. However, the lack of training and the fact that I was playing very fast, lead to lose the most of my experience. And I spent time thinking what I should do in order to improve my game. So I thought it would be a good idea to order some puzzle books, and learn some openings. I pretty much know the most of the openings and I try them in the games. However I haven’t studied them but I have watched from chess grandmasters. And I believe I should learn a chess opening that would help me improve my game and get back to 1000s rating. Any suggestions of chess openings to study?(700-1000 elo)
Italian game, ruy lopez and more than that, just follow the opening principles and impro. That’s my guess. Then again, I’m still on my way to 1000 so it may very well be someone else has a better idea.
Openings do not matter at your level. Always check your intended move is no blunder before you play it. That alone is enough to get to 1500.
