Openings

Is it better to play a game using someone's opening you have studied or, what i do, make your own up as you go about the game? When i play, depending on my mood i will make it up as i go. I was wanting other peoples opinion on this.

i don't think "making it up as you go" is really the best way to play.  obviously you have to be willing to make changes as the game dictates but flying blind doesn't work very well.  that being saud, chances are, if you are playing a sound opening you're probably not making it up.  it's probably already a used opening--or at least a variation of a used opening.

I do not feel its flying blind at all but just a show of one’s own skills to play with your own opening. Granted you are right in that if you are playing a sound opening you're probably not making it up, but to do that with know knowledge of the opening seems pretty good to me.
