imagine in real life, beating someone in a 1 on 1 basketball game, and then being the one asking the person you just beat for a rematch when there are a bunch of people there at the park, ready to play, that you could challenge.
That's a weak move, it demonstrates that you'd rather play against somebody that you feel confident that you can beat, as you have just done so, rather than playing somebody who may pose a challenge and put your skills to the test.
it shows that you care more about protecting your ego, presumably because of how fragile it is, than you do about progress and improving. youd rather believe that youre good, than going through the struggle that it requires to actually get good.
if you win against a random person and you ask for a rematch, then you're a loser.
