You don't get bonus points so to speak for bad behavior like abandonment; it is counted as a win like any other. If you play around your skill level, wins/losses should only increase/decrease your score by like 6-9 pts a game, so your experience seems reasonable

I was 1661 vs my opponent 1748, so a significant difference. I won and the system gave me +11 points and -10 to my opponent. I might be wrong but i think i should have received more points and they should have lost more points.
I am currently only about a 950 rank.
Recent opponent was very near my number.
I thought a win or a loss would put my rating up or down by 8 or 9.
This recent opponent played until he knew he was defeated but instead of honourably resigning, he abandoned the game and made me watch his timer. Ok so my points received? Only 6. What is the reason?
