i found it . the torrent appears 2 days ago in a very good quality . The moovie was awesome . I recommend for everybody who is interested of Bobby Fisher's life and the reason why and how he became insane at chess.

I tried to download the torrent but the site was marked with a notice saying the torrent was removed. Maybe when the DVD comes out they will also make a download file available at Amazon either on prime or for a few bucks. I think Amazon has the right idea by the way they sell movies. It's much easier to download and store the movie on my computer than to get the DVD. I have a 1 TB HD and another 500 GB plug in HD so I have plenty of space for movies. 

Pretty weird that you can basically torrent any big titles, but this niche movie is protected so well.

I can't believe it hasn't been released on PPV cable yet.

You can torrent this pretty easily as of a few days ago.  I don't know everyone is having trouble.

This movie is available on Kodi 1channel. I watched it, it was a stupid movie full of lies. 

The entire manner in which Bobby Fischer is depicted is a lie. He is shown as being completely crazy. Its just not true. There are many, many outright lies about Fischer and Paul Morphy as well. One that stands out was that he forfeited the world championship. Actually he didn't. In his time the world champion in chess was under no obligation to do anything to defend his title, under the rules if he did not play a match with anyone else he could retain the title indefinately, which he did. Bobby Fischer was the world champion from the moment he won the title until the day he died.They even lied about Morphy saying he killed himself in a bathtub surrounder by ladies shoes. According to the doctor who examined him Morphy died in the bathtub of a stroke. And there were no ladies shoes anywhere.Whoever wrote that movie was a nasty sob for lying outright about Paul Morphy like that. They said Fischer was crazy for accusing the Russians of cheating in their own tournaments which they did, he was crazy because he believed the Russians were bugging his room which they were and so on. I'm glad I watched the movie for free because it was not worth paying for.     

Not sure if this has been said already but when I watched the movie these errors stood out to me:

-In the movie, Fischer said the Soviets cheated at the 1962 Olympiad. In reality, he wrote his letter The Russians Have Fixed World Chess after or at the 1962 Candidates in Curaçao. He did file a complaint at the Olympiad regarding the Russians, but that was about them whispering to eachother during the games.
-In reality, Spassky was a much nicer person than the cold person portrayed in the movie.
-In reality, Fischer was taller than Spassky.
-The sixth game of the Fischer-Spassky match is said to be considered the greatest game of chess in history. That is not true - it is true, though, that it's considered the greatest game of the match.
-Morphy did not die the way the movie claims he did.
-At one point in the movie he plays a Soviet player named Ivanovich. No such a player exists. Fischer was one hour late at the game and went on to crush Ivanovich. That game is based on one Fischer played versus Reshevsky, where Fischer did show up 1 hour late: http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1044272
 

The thing about that movie is its total inaccuracy. The actor that plays Fischer looks nothing like Fischer at all. They show him as being totally crazy without even trying to depict all the stress he was under. They show him as not being able to function with girls, yet he did have girl friends, in fact after he died two women who said they were his wives sued each other over his two million dollars he had. They gloss over the injustices that were done to him, for example when he was put in jail in Japan and held there for 8 months without even a hearing. The complete lie about Paul Morphy shows how nasty and stupid the writers and producer of this movie were. Morphy did not commit suicide and to even say that unnecessarily defames a great man. Thumbs down on this movie!
